Opportunities to Make a Difference

Option 1 - Eat Plant-based once per week

If you aren't already, pick a day each week to eat plant-based.

You'll benefit your health, the environment and the climate

Option 2 - Tell your representative to take climate action

We don't know what the makeup of Congress will be after the mid-terms

Therefore, our best opportunity to pass climate legislation is now.

Simply call your representative and tell them we need to act on climate now.

NATO moves to tackle emissions despite war in Ukraine

NATO, world’s largest military alliance,  announced climate targets as part of summit in Madrid

Committed to reduce emissions by at least 45% by 2030 and to be carbon neutral by 2050, in line with what’s needed to stay on track to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius

Individual countries still need to determine what targets to set for their own militaries

U.S. military is already working to achieve similar targets set forth by Biden Administration in Spring 2021
