Turning Carbon into Useful Products

There are roughly 350 startups working to turn carbon into useful products

Jet fuel – moving to sustainable jet fuels made from chemical processes that turn CO2 into syngas which can be turned into a jet fuel replacement

Building materials – injecting carbon into wet concrete which permanently stores it as a mineral

Investment has expanded. Over $550m had flowed in by the end of September according to research and consulting firm Cleantech Group; more than in the previous five years put together
